Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse

The view from the tower of the lighthouse is spectacular and one can visit to climb the steps. It is open to the public between 10am and 3pm every day between April and October, with visits by arrangement the rest of the year. One can also stay close to the lighthouse.


St. Blaize Trail

The St. Blaize Trail is a popular 13.5 km (6 hour) hike that follows the 30 metre contour along the cliffs westwards from the Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse. It begins at the Cave below the Lighthouse, and ends at Dana Bay (you can walk it in either direction), and is marked with the sign of the Oystercatcher. You can do the 4 hour walk that ends at the Pinnacle Point Clubhouse where you can enjoy a nice meal or refreshements.



Mossel Bay have 3 out of the 23 Blue Flag Beaches in the Western Cape.  We are proud and happy to announce that De Bakke Beach, Hartenbos Beach and Klein Brak Beach are all part of this prestigious group of beaches in South Africa.
